Meet The Team

I began my journey with Pilates after being diagnosed with arthritis in my lower spine. Following a course of physiotherapy, I turned to Pilates as a way to manage pain and support my spine through improved core strength.

Inspired by the positive impact it had on my own wellbeing, I went on to train, qualify, and begin teaching around 10 years ago. Today, I run a successful Pilates practice across West Somerset.

My personal experience shapes the way I teach—I bring enthusiasm, empathy, and genuine care to every session. I truly believe in the benefits Pilates can offer people of all ages and abilities, from improving posture and balance to relieving back pain. There are few things more rewarding than hearing how it has made a real difference in someone’s life.

Outside of teaching, I’m an avid walker and particularly enjoy exploring Dorset. I live in South Somerset with my husband and our two cats, Fergus and Finlay, and have easy access to the beautiful Quantocks and Exmoor. When I’m not out walking, I enjoy knitting—especially since discovering sock knitting, which has become a passion in its own right.

I have been going on retreats for many years and feel passionately about well-being and allowing yourself time to rest and switch off from the demands of every day life. Experiencing the benefits of going on a retreat inspired me to start co-organising one and I have been running these small retreats since 2024. I particularly enjoy personalising your time away and helping to curate a relaxing and nurturing atmosphere.

I qualified as a reflexologist in 2020 and have a self-contained treatment space on site. The treatment room is tranquil and calm, enabling you to fully relax and make the most of your reflexology.  I am trained in foot, hand and facial reflexology. I have also qualified in reflexology lymphatic drainage based on manual lymphatic drainage techniques.

In my spare time I enjoy yoga, Pilates and going on retreats. I also love cooking and trying new recipes especially for these retreats!
